Founded by James Gilchrist with the REO Motor Car Company, our dealership has evolved alongside the automotive industry, proudly representing Chrysler Plymouth in the 40s, and later expanding to include Borgward, Buick, and Opel.

Passed down through generations, the Gilchrist family has always prioritized serving our customers. John Gilchrist Sr. expanded our offerings with Chevrolet in 1988, solidifying our commitment to providing a wide selection of vehicles. Today, under the leadership of the third generation, and with the fourth generation beginning to make their mark, Gilchrist Tacoma proudly offers Buick, Chevrolet, and GMC vehicles, continuing a tradition of excellence and family values that spans over nine decades.
